I am a graduate of the University of Alberta and I purchased the St. Albert franchise in 2013 after looking for a profession that would allow me to be in a role that could help people. Add that to my love of driving and it was a perfect fit! I currently have four cars and my six great staff who are committed to making DMD St. Albert and Edmonton a favorite with our clients. My vehicles are walker and folding wheel-chair friendly, but you must be able to transfer yourself with minimal assistance. Driving Miss Daisy provides door to door service and accompaniment, if needed. Here are just some of our many services: • Medical, dental and eye appointments • Personal Appointments (hair, nails, etc.) • Going to work • Transportation to meet with friends and family • Personal/Grocery shopping • Companionship • To Adult Day Programs • Airport service: o With assistance to your gate past security for departures, if required o Pick-up on arrival We currently serve St. Albert, Sturgeon County, and Edmonton. We are open from 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Evenings, weekends and airport runs by special arrangement. Please book early to ensure your transportation with DMD St. Albert. All Driving Miss Daisy vehicles can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers when the client is able to self-transfer. Select locations have fully accessible vehicles.
